Point guard Dennis Schroeder and center Thomas Bryant are expected to make their debuts for the Lakers this season against Detroit on Friday, according to insider Shams Charania.


Both players missed the start of the season due to thumb injuries.


Schroeder signed a one-year, $2. 64 million contract with the Lakers during the off-season. The Germany defender has already played for the Los Angeles team in the 2020/21 season.


Bryant joined the Lakers in July as a free agent. Last season with the Wizards, he averaged 7. 4 points and 4. 0 rebounds per game.
